I wish I didn't live so far away, I'm working on a jobsite down the road and saw this place decided to give it a try and man just the smell walking in I new it was gonna be good . 100% recommend. Food was hot and fresh and amazing. And great service as well and not costly at all.
First time eating here, absolutely amazing! My favorite thing so far is the potato salad. The okra is great! Love the corn bread. My husband got wings and said they were great. They were so friendly, too! Greta food and kind service! We can’t wait to eat here again!
You know your in the right place when they ask you if you need vinegar for your collards! The lady working on 5/10/25 was super cool and beyond friendly. 10/10 stars just for her! Now lets talk about the food, amazing food! Fried chicken (leg & thighs) best is NC period no questions asked. Potato salad they should write book about how to make it and the collards were to die for! Hands down my favorite place to eat. If you get it you get if don't I feel sorry for you. 10/10 Stars every time!
Food was absolutely delicious! First time eating here and won't be my last! I had the perfectly fried chicken and pork chop and Mac n cheese and cabbage which all was perfectly seasoned and melts in your mouth! This place will be on my roster every week!

The flavors are amazing, and everything is cooked fresh to order – definitely worth the wait! If you’re ordering to-go, we suggest calling ahead for the best experience. Hopefully, they’ll add an online ordering option soon, with payment upfront to make pick-up even easier. Treat yourself to soul food that feels just like home!
She has so many options to choose from her menu and everything tastes like it was all made with love! As soon as you walk in the owner was there to greet us she was so warm it made it feel so homey! Love this place! And food was sooo good and fairly priced for the amount she gave, will def be back!
